Description
Become a freelance time traveler and change the past to win the future! In Timelancers, you’ll take on the role of a freelance time traveler working for a faction that wants to change the past so they can rewrite the future.
You’ll travel around Janusburg – the city of the future – collecting resources and other items you’ll need for your adventures. You’ll use your time machine to capture real historical event cards from throughout history – either repeating history as it happened or revising it. Event cards added to your time machine will give you special abilities making capturing more events easier.
Be careful! Revising history will cause a butterfly effect that can change the city’s action spaces and cause captured events to change – mixing up the special abilities available to you and other players.
Timelancers is a time travel themed set collection board game that utilizes worker movement, resource management, tableau building, contracts, and a modular game board. Players will earn points from the events they capture, goals they accomplish, and money they collect. The player with the most points wins!
