Description
The special feature of this word-building card game is its adaptability to various skill levels. The dealer of each hand determines the difficulty by stipulating the length of the word to be formed, anywhere from 3 to 8 letters. Each player is then dealt that many letter cards, and in rummy-like format, cards are picked and discarded until one player forms a word and wins the hand. In a beginners’ test game using three-letter words, it rarely took more than three turns for a player to form a word. Lengthen the words for a greater challenge.
