Description
Hock Shop is a 1970s roll-and-move board game by Whitman where players buy and sell items and can “hock” them at a pawn shop for quick cash, though they pay a hefty price to get them back. It is often described as a Monopoly-like game with a less sensible theme. The goal is to be the first to accumulate a certain amount of money, and players must strategically decide when to pawn items to buy new ones, while managing the cost of retrieving them later.
