Starlog Magazine was an early science-fiction publication that was originally conceived to focus on Star Trek. It eventually branched out and became a source for coverage of the non-fiction behind the science fiction, hosting articles about the making of films, television shows, and even books for science fiction outside of Star Trek. Its prominence eventually formed a reputation of Starlog being one of the biggest influences in science fiction’s popularity from the late 70s onward.
